About the chapel
The chapel was reconditioned for use by the Ylistaro chapel parish in the year 2007. The benches were obtained by the old benches of the organ loft. In addition, planks were painted to serve as seats, with trestles placed underneath them.
The two paintings next to the altar and the psalm number board are apparently belongings of the old church, which were taken out of use over 150 years ago and are now in the current military cemetery area.
The chapel is used predominantly during summer, but if needed can also be used during the winter season depending on the weather conditions. The chapel can house small services, like funerals, weddings, christenings and social gatherings.
