Grief support

The grief support group is directed to all the people who are mourning the loss of a close person. The group offers the opportunity to talk and go through the feelings and issues concerning loss and grief.

Grief support groups for adults and children

Join our peer support group

Peer support can help when you are facing grief. We organise grief support groups for adults and children in the Seinäjoki Centre area, Nurmo, Peräseinäjoki and Ylistaro. For information about upcoming grief support groups you can also contact the coordinators directly.

Grief support groups for adults

The grief support group is directed to all people who are mourning the loss of a close person. The group offers the opportunity to talk and go through the feelings and issues concerning loss and grief. A grief support group is a peer support group where you can talk and listen in confidence, share your thoughts, or simply sit silently.

Grief support group for children

The grief support group is meant for children ages 5–10 who have lost a loved one. In the children’s grief support group, grief is addressed safely through the help of various activities such as games, songs, and stories.

Grief support groups are free of charge

Grief support groups are a free service offered by your parish.
