Clubs
The Seinäjoki parish organises clubs for school-aged children in Seinäjoki, Nurmo, Peräseinäjoki and Ylistaro.
Information about the clubs
We organize cooking clubs, sports and ball games clubs, as well as separate clubs for girls and boys. The available clubs change yearly with the changing of the instructors.
Prices and registration
The clubs meet weekly, and they are free of charge. Clubs can be joined mid-season, and the registration takes place at the time of arrival. The cooking club is the only exception, for which you need to register in advance.
What do children do in the clubs?
In the clubs, children exercise, do crafts, and make friends with other children. The cooking club is directed at children interested in cooking.
Instructors
The parish’s clubs for school-aged children are led by young volunteers.

The parish is organizing a special 10th birthday celebration for all children turning 10 this year. Invitations will be distributed through schools closer to the event.
The celebration will include birthday cake, quizzes, music, and a special guest, the 10th Birthday Fox!

Axel Evenings

Several locations and times are available.
Open Close
A free event for school-aged children featuring singing together led by a band, activity stations, light refreshments, and a bingo game to finish the evening.
Axel Evenings are held once in the autumn and once in the spring in each area: Seinäjoki, Nurmo, Peräseinäjoki, and Ylistaro. The events are named after the mascot for school-aged children. The programme is the same at every event, regardless of location.

Open Close
The Scale Modelling Club for Grades 2-6 meets on Thursdays from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm at Tikkuvuori Parish Centre. Entrance is through the main door.
Please bring your own model kit. The club provides tools and supplies to help you with building and painting your model.
