Family camps

The family camp is a weekend-long camp directed at families with children. The camp gives an opportunity to take a break from the day-to-day life and be with your own family without hurry, and also share moments together with other families.

Information about the family camps

The family camp is primarily intended for families with children in the Seinäjoki area. Priority is given to families attending the family camp for the first time. However, if you have participated before, you can still sign up.

What are we going to do at the family camp?

At family camps, children spend time outside, make crafts, play, go to the sauna, sing and do activities. At the end of the day, we join in silence for the evening prayer, and on Sunday, at the end of the camp, we join in a family Mass inside the camp church.

Meals and accomodation

At camp, we have accommodation for families with their own shower and toilet. Meals are included in the price, so that your family can come to a set table.

How much does joining the family camp cost?
  • Adults
    • €45 for members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
    • €60 for other adults
  • Children
    • €0 for children under 4-years of age.
    • €32 for children 4 years and over. If the family members participate with multiple children, the family is granted a 25% discount. The price of admission for the first child in this situation is €32, while for the following ones it is €24 per child.

Camp fees will be sent electronically to participants before the camp begins. For payment arrangements or mitigations, you can ask the member of staff responsible for the camps.

Application period

The application for the camps starts around a month before the start of the camp and is done through the parish’s website. The family camp’s finalisation is always confirmed on a later date.
